Sunday, November 8

ASP Films presents Manhattan
When November 8th 7 & 9 p.m.
Where VU 552
Cost free

On Sunday at 7 p.m., the showing of Manhattan will be in the Underground Coffeehouse.

If ever there was a movie to mirror the life of Woody Allen, this would be it. Set in the titular city, "Manhattan" stars Allen as Isaac Davis, an aging television writer at a crisis in his life. Isaac's wife has recently left him to start a relationship with another woman, while a young high schooler named Mary (Diane Keaton), begins an affair with the ambivalent older man. When paths cross and things grow complicated, Allen proves once again that he can fill a movie with tenderness and wit. Like its crowded streets, "Manhattan" is a hectic examination of life in the fast lane.
